So I went to the topic 'L4D Updates: Latest is 1.0.2.5' and I installed the latest version (1st, full update to 1019, then to 1020, then to 1022 FIXED and finally the 1025). Invalid protocol, expecting 1017, got 1025 Unfortunately this topic just covers updates till v1.0.1.7, which is useless if you want to play online as all (or most) servers are using v1.0.2.5.
I installed the game and followed all the instructions appearing in the 'L4D Files and Guides' topic. Hi, it's my first message in this forum and i'm looking for some help with left4dead.
